Aiming to transition into teaching, a natural exploration of educational material and product design occurred as a method of discovery and research.
With the increase in technological advances, tablets have become an integral part of daily life for many young children. In this project, I intended to play on the idea of the contemporary tablet and the old-style wax tablet. Consisting of multiple layers, the EduTab presents a multifunctional tool through which children can explore a selection of activities – from puzzles to writing to colouring sheets – encouraging manual dexterity and critical thinking.
