With a focus on gesture and individual reception of an experience, the nature of this workshop was to explore the way people interpret and communicate their own feelings to a designated stimuli. Using a controlled set of resources, we were able to limit the number of variables, and ensure that we were collecting the visual outcomes that were raw and unique to each individual – Essentially their gut reaction to a range of given stimuli.

As a historical feature of Norwich, the plantation gardens became the focus for ‘The City’, a brief collaboration with students from Fine Art. Through a selection of casting techniques, we were able to produce a mosaic, suggestive of the beautiful garden walls. The challenges that presented themselves as a result of a cross-disciplinary collaboration were difficult, but also enjoyable to overcome. The publication was also explores the complexities of the walls and the gardens many pathways.
